• ▸Voice Audio: Audio captured when you use the SpokenCode hotkey. Transmitted to our API for processing only — never stored.
• ▸Usage Data: Feature usage, credit consumption, subscription status, and application version.

We use collected information to:

• ▸Provide, operate, and maintain the SpokenCode Service.
• ▸Process voice input and return generated code or text.
• ▸Manage accounts, subscriptions, and billing.
• ▸Send transactional communications such as receipts and password resets.
• ▸Improve the performance and reliability of our Service.
• ▸Comply with applicable legal obligations.

When you activate the SpokenCode hotkey, audio from your microphone is encrypted and transmitted over HTTPS to our inference API. The audio is processed to produce transcription or code output and then immediately discarded. We do not store, analyze, or share your voice recordings.

If you opt in to context-aware generation, selected text from your screen may be sent alongside the audio to improve accuracy. This text is also discarded after the request completes.

SpokenCode uses the following third-party providers:

• ▸Clerk (clerk.com): Handles user authentication and account management.
• ▸Stripe (stripe.com): Processes payments and manages billing.
• ▸AI Inference Provider: Powers our voice-to-code API using Whisper AI technology. Audio is not retained by this provider.
• ▸Cloud Infrastructure: We use cloud services for hosting and operations.

Our website at www.spokencode.dev uses session cookies required for authentication and to maintain your login state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some website features may not work properly as a result.

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where legal or financial compliance requires longer retention.

Voice audio is never stored and is discarded immediately after each request.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

SpokenCode is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has used SpokenCode, contact us at hello@spokencode.dev and we will promptly delete the information.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the 'Last updated' date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through the application.
