Terms of Service

By accessing or using SpokenCode, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts, and agree to comply with these Terms of Service.

If you are using SpokenCode on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

SpokenCode is a voice-to-code desktop application that converts spoken language into code, terminal commands, and text using artificial intelligence. The Service operates through our API infrastructure and requires an active internet connection.

SpokenCode offers three subscription tiers:

• ▸Free: 30 minutes per month (180 credits) of voice processing at no cost — no credit card required.
• ▸Pro: 100 hours per month (36,000 credits) for $4.99/month (billed annually) or $6/month (billed monthly).
• ▸Max: Unlimited usage for $39.99/month (billed annually) or $42/month (billed monthly).

To access SpokenCode's features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to notify us promptly at hello@spokencode.dev if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the selected billing interval.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. For billing issues or service disruptions, contact us at hello@spokencode.dev.

You agree to use SpokenCode only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• ▸Use the Service to generate malicious code, malware, or harmful content.
• ▸Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass the security of our application or API.
• ▸Circumvent usage limits, credit systems, or API rate limits.
• ▸Resell or sublicense access to SpokenCode without our written permission.
• ▸Violate any applicable laws or infringe the rights of third parties.
• ▸Submit audio containing personally identifiable information of others without their consent.

SpokenCode's software, design, trademarks, and technology are owned by SpokenCode and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

You retain ownership of your voice inputs. Code and text generated by SpokenCode in response to your input is provided for your personal or commercial use.

Your voice audio is transmitted securely to our API for processing only. It is not stored, logged, or sold to third parties. Voice data is discarded immediately after your request is fulfilled.

SpokenCode is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the accuracy of AI-generated outputs. Always review generated code before using it in production.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpokenCode and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if you have not made any payments.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that harms others or SpokenCode.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. To request your data before termination, contact hello@spokencode.dev.

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the application. Continued use of SpokenCode after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
